T'ai
Chi in Sandgate
Regular
weekly classes in Yang style, long form T'ai Chi take place
in Sandgate at the Chichester Hall. Sandgate is near Folkestone,
Kent, on the south east coast of England.
Classes
are held on Tuesday evenings and are taught by Catherine Robinson.
Catherine studied for thirty years with Pytt
Geddes, thought to be the first person to introduce T'ai
Chi to the UK.
If you'd
like more information about the classes, we'll send you a
leaflet by post. Just fill
in your details here. Alternatively you can download a
PDF version of the leaflet below. Please note that online
enrolment is available, but only for the new Beginners Class.
Returning students can fill in a booking form and send it
with a cheque, or enrol at the first class of term.
The Sandgate
group frequently organises impromptu T'ai Chi sessions in
various locations, including The Leas at Folkestone and the
wide sandy beach at Dymchurch. We also arrange occasional
one-day and weekend workshops, open to anyone studying Yang
style long form, which sometimes include additional elements
such as voice and singing work. Details will be available
on this site.
